Where We Stand
Halt Carbon Tax and 'All Electric' Plans
We oppose any carbon tax schemes and the 'All Electric' mandate, which has and will continue to place undue financial strain on fixed, low, and middle-income households. In our quest toward stronger environmental stewardship, our focus should be on policies which are sustainable and which do not compromise economic stability.
Support Law Enforcement Officers
We stand firmly behind our law enforcement officers and agencies, recognizing their essential role in maintaining community safety. Our commitment includes opposing any legislation that undermines their ability to protect and serve effectively. By supporting our law enforcement, we foster a safer environment for all.
Education, Spending, and Taxes
Our state requires a thorough reworking of the education property tax system to ensure that Vermonters never again have to face double-digit, record-high property tax increases.. Furthermore, we support halting any new taxes and fees that burden Vermont families. We advocate for common-sense spending practices, fiscal responsibility, and the prioritization of essential services, eliminating wasteful spending.
Oppose Restrictive Gun Laws
We oppose restrictive gun laws that infringe upon the rights of law-abiding citizens. We unwaveringly commit to respect Vermonters civil liberties and rights, including the Second Amendment, while promoting responsible gun ownership and safety.
